Boulies EP460

I received my EP460 in February 2025. I had ordered it to replace an ailing and broken Herman Miller Aeron chair. I had not expected it to be as good as the Aeron as it was less than half the price but I certainly didn't expect issues I've had. Firstly the back cam be adjusted for height but regularly, and for no apparent reason, comes loose and drops to its lowest height. The seat height likewise can be adjusted for height but again randomly sinks to its lowest height. This was by no means a cheap chair but fails on may levels to be even an approximate replacement for the my old Aeron.

After testing several options, this chair stood out. It’s the only one that met all my criteria—comfort, support, and design. Highly recommended.

Really easy to assemble and feels sturdy once set up. The seat cushion is comfortable, and once I adjusted it to fit my height, it made a huge difference. The lumbar support is a big help during long hours at the computer.

Not the cheapest (or most expensive) chair I could have bought, but being that I spend over 8 hours a day sat in it while working, I’m suitably impressed. Lots of adjustment options and even with an existing bad back, I’m not left feeling crippled at the end of the work day.

Bought for my wife for the home office.

A great chair and relatively easy to build. From her perspective, the head rest had to be removed as (being short) meant it was pushing her head forward, but otherwise she finds the chair very comfortable.
